The E-Sphere^® Simple NA Kit uses a novel, streamlined process for extracting total nucleic acids from samples prior to PCR and other molecular applications. Using a high performance enzyme, the E-Sphere^® process is faster than traditional methods involving beads, silica, binding, washing, and elution. Extractions require only 4 steps, less than 30 minutes total time, and just 2 sample transfers. A sample is homogenized using the E-Sphere® Buffer. Next, the highly thermostable E-Sphere^® Enzyme digests inhibitory material, and releases total nucleic acids (DNA & RNA) from samples at 75°C. And finally, the proprietary E-Sphere^® Clean-Up Column purifies the total nucleic acid. High quality total nucleic acids are extracted and ready for molecular applications, or can be stored at ≤ -20°C for future use.

The column doesn’t bind the nucleic acids…it just CLEANS UP the sample!  The nucleic acids flow THROUGH THE COLUMN.  Hands on time is just 20 minutes.
